Model Rachael Finch reveals her list of things that keep her feeling ‘balanced and healthy’ and claims that wellness is ‘a way of life’

She’s known for her holistic lifestyle, and now Rachael Finch has revealed the things that help her to feel ‘balanced and healthy’.

In a post on Instagram on Monday, the 32-year-old model told her fans that ‘being healthy’ is ‘a way of life’. 

‘A gentle reminder that being healthy isn’t just about drinking green juices, taking vitamins, or working out every day,’ she began.

‘It’s a way of life. All encompassing. About creating a harmonious balance of mind, body and soul, whatever that means to YOU.’

She then listed off some of the things ‘that fill my cup and keep me balanced’.

Rachael credited spending ‘quality time with my family where I am 100 per cent present’ and drinking ‘plenty of water’ with helping her to feel good.

She also praised ‘daily movement to keep my body happy, in ways that excite me and feel good’.  

Other things to make it onto Rachael’s list included ‘time outdoors in nature with my feet on the ground and the sun on my skin’.

‘Balanced and wholesome meals, mostly made from home with quality ingredients,’ she continued.

Rachael revealed she also tries to get ‘eight to nine hours of deep sleep each night’. 

‘Doesn’t always happen with kiddies but I do my best,’ added the mum of daughter Violet, seven, and son Dominic, four, with her husband of eight years, Michael Miziner.

The former Miss Universe Australia also said she practices ‘regular meditation to calm my mind and keep me in control’ and called it ‘a non-negotiable for me’.

She also stressed the importance of ‘laughter and joy’: ‘Scheduling in activities that are purely for fun and make me smile from ear to ear.’

Another thing to make it onto Rachael’s list of wellness was ‘indulgence and self-care’. 

‘Choosing things every week that make me feel good and relax my mind and body,’ she explained.
