NASCAR driver James Kirkham and Jessica Hart announced their engagement on Wednesday.
And on Friday, James posted a gushing tribute to his pregnant fiancée on Instagram, sharing several sweet images from their engagement.
He explained in a lengthy post that he is ‘overwhelmed with gratitude’ to be engaged to the 34-year-old Australian model.

‘There’s no coincidence that our paths have crossed,’ he began the post.
‘Everything that’s happened in our lives has happened to bring us right here, right now. Let’s continue to create a beautiful existence with one another, one surrounded by love and spontaneity.’
He continued: ‘Let’s push each other to dream bigger and bigger and try to never take each other for granted. Overwhelmed with gratitude to be engaged to my Queen. Love you Jessie.’

One image also shows the moment that James got down on one knee to ask Jessica to be his wife.

‘What a day! My beautiful sister [Ashley] threw me a baby shower and my best friend and baby daddy came and proposed to me,’ Jessica, 34, wrote on Instagram, alongside a gallery of photos from the event.
She added: ‘It was so, so special! We’re on cloud nine over here. I was really blown away and super surprised. I had no idea. Thank you to all of you that were there and made it so special. I love you all (I said YES).’
Jessica is 39 weeks pregnant with her first child – and James’ second – and is expected to give birth any day now.

The couple announced that they were expecting their first child together last month.
‘We’re so super duper excited about this awesome news, especially at this time and amongst the mainly bleak news out there. What a blessing’, Jessica wrote on Instagram on September 3.
‘We’re so unbelievably grateful and happy!’ she added.
