She played the New York-based wife who reluctantly defended her husband as he stood trial for murder in the psychological thriller, The Undoing.

However, things took a hilarious turn as Nicole Kidman’s character Grace from the HBO series was hilariously parodied on America’s Saturday Night Live.

Actress Chloe Fineman had audience members in hysterics as she poked fun at the star’s accent – which she claimed was from the ‘upper east side of Australia’.

In the segment, Kate McKinnon played Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who called upon Grace to testify at a hearing regarding allegations of fraud during the 2020 presidential election.

Chloe, who wore a curly reg wig which mimicked Nicole’s locks in the series, immediately sat in her seat with a horrified look on her face.

She nailed Nicole’s accent from the show, saying: ‘Your honour my husband Hugh Grant is innocent.

She was then asked: ‘I’m sorry, where is your accent supposed to be from?’

Chloe hilariously replied: ‘It’s from the upper east side of Australia. Crikey, Zabars!’

The six-part psychological thriller miniseries also stars Donald Sutherland, Noah Jupe, Édgar Ramírez, Lily Rabe, Matilda De Angelis and Ismael Cruz Córdova.

In the series, Jonathan [Hugh] is arrested on suspicion of his secret lover’s murder [Matilda]. However, a series of dark twists and turn had convinced viewers that another character might have been responsible for the atrocity.

However, the nail-biting ending confirmed that it was Jonathan who killed Elena Alves.
