The High School Musical actress announced that she was expecting her first child, a girl, in September after celebrating her sixth wedding anniversary with Christopher.

She wrote on her blog: ‘IM PREGNANT!!!! Wow, it feels so good to finally share this news with you guys! Where do I even begin?,’ she wrote in her blog.
‘For YEARS it has been the question from everyone since I got married. At first, I rebelled against it, and like clockwork, after I got engaged EVERYONE (and I mean everyone!) asked when I was getting married.’

In an Instagram snap in November, Ashley cradled her blossoming baby bump as she detailed the healing energy in her ‘safe space’ up north.
Writing of her late maltipoo Maui, who died last year, she said: ‘Its crazy the last time here we were trying to heal from losing Maui, a huge life change.
‘Now a little more than a year later we are celebrating this bundle of joy, another life change.’
