Roman Kemp has admitted that many of his ex girlfriends developed a crush on his father Martin when they were dating.
The radio presenter, 27, and his dad, 58, appeared on Thursday’s episode of This Morning and Martin appeared very amused by his son’s admission.
Host Phillip Schofield said he heard Roman’s exes had fancied Martin, to which the star replied: ‘My dad always goes, “no that’s not true!” It is. There’s been a few girls in the past that said “Oh my god, I’ve just seen your dad walk passed in a towel!”‘

Martin, who was appearing via link in his home, burst out laughing, with Phillip jokingly saying: ‘Should we leave it there?’
Co-host Holly Willoughby agreed, saying: ‘I think we should’.
Roman is in a relationship with Anne-Sophie Flury who he has been self-isolating with during lockdown.
He said: ‘We were separated for a while when we first got together because she lived in Hong Kong. To be able to be in lockdown together, we’re making up for lost time I guess. But it is tough, I miss my mum and dad and my sister as well.’

Roman admitted: ‘There’s been a few girls in the past that said oh my god, I’ve just seen your dad walk passed in a towel!’
Roman has continued hosting his Capital Breakfast radio show from the studio during lockdown and told how he sought out advice from big names in the industry.
He said: ‘We’ve been coming in every day during lockdown. We were listed as key workers. I was reaching out to other DJs and speaking to them.
‘Chris Moyles, Greg James. I’m 27 and have to tell people how to feel after waking up after terrible news. You realise what a community you build with your listeners during times like this.’
Meanwhile, Martin revealed that he treated Roman and his sister Harley, 30, more as friends when they were growing up, which he believes benefited their family.

He said: ‘We brought Roman up as friends and a group of friends. We didn’t have that whole thing of telling the kids off. We would listen to them and if there argument was better than ours, that’s the way we went.
‘Sometimes parents tend to tell their kids off out anger rather than reason. It’s not for everyone but it was right for us.’
Roman agreed, saying: ‘I would say I benefited so much more as an adult because in my mum and dad I have two best friends who I can call every single day and ask for advice.

‘We can talk about everything. You have to think about that relationship and how it grows into adult life.’
Martin and Roman are joining forces for their new TV show Sunday Best and Martin admitted there have been some strange moments with father and son working together.
He said: ‘It wasn’t weird till a few days ago when we recorded the first episode of Sunday Best when Roman had dressing room one and I had dressing room two. It hit me, hang on a sec, I’m in the wrong position!’
