Sharon Osbourne and daughter Aimee spotted together after Kelly revealed the sisters aren’t speaking

Sharon Osbourne and daughter Aimee have both made headlines recently, but they didn’t let any controversy get in the way of their mother-daughter bonding.

The 68-year-old reality star was spotted having lunch with her eldest child, 37, at the trendy South Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills on Friday.

This is the first time the two have been seen together since Aimee’s younger sister Kelly revealed they don’t talk anymore during an episode of Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert on Monday.

Sharon wore on oversized pink sweatshirt for the outing which featured a rainbow-colored graphic across the front.

She paired the casual top with equally as comfortable baggy denim pants and white trainers.

The red-haired star let her hair out for the day, accessorizing with a long necklace, an array of bangles on her wrist and large shades.

She carried a massive Off-White brand tote bag over her shoulder as she headed to the restaurant, and took precautions against the ongoing coronavirus pandemic with her medical-grade face covering.

Aimee also cut a casual figure in a black crop top and blue skinny jeans, which she paired with a warm striped jacket and black Vans sneakers.

The breeze blew her long brunette locks around as she kept her hands full with a black tote, brown paper takeout bag and her adorable white dog.

The cute pooch circled around its owner as she held tight onto his long leash.

The notoriously private daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne also sported a black face mask to stay safe as they finished up at the upscale eatery.

Aimee, who has always preferred to stay out of the spotlight, is an accomplished singer who also has a few acting credits under her belt.

Despite dabbling in the entertainment industry, like her relatives, Kelly, 36, said they have an inability to get on the same page because ‘they’re really different.’

‘We don’t talk,’ Kelly told Kristen Bell’s husband, 46. ‘She doesn’t understand me and I don’t understand her.’

Aimee, who moved out of their family’s house at the age of 16 to avoid being on the Osbournes’ family reality show, previously talked about their rift in 2015.

Speaking to The Independent, Aimee said: ‘I wouldn’t say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance. Do we socialize? No.’

In the interview, Aimee said of not appearing on The Osbournes, ‘Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television?’

‘I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable,’ she continued.

Meanwhile, Sharon is getting used to unemployed life after famously leaving The Talk in March.

She served as an original host for 11 seasons on the daytime program following a heated discussion with Sheryl Underwood over Piers Morgan’s controversial comments about Meghan Markle from her Oprah Winfrey interview with Prince Harry.

She was the last original cast member left, who co-hosted the first season in 2010 with Julie Chen (who left after season eight), Sara Gilbert (who left after season nine) and a trio who only lasted the first season — Marissa Jaret Winokur, Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini.

And with Osbourne out of the picture, The Talk has seen a decline in viewers as recent Nielsen numbers revealed the show averaged ‘1.197 million viewers and a 0.9 household rating in Live+Same Day, ranking it 13th among the 13 daytime broadcast shows aired on ABC, CBS and NBC, and a total audience low for the show which aired originals all week,’ according to Soap Opera Network

The site added: ‘Key sales demos that set advertising rates for daytime television also show The Talk again ranked 13th with just a 0.18 rating in Women 18-49 and a 0.32 rating in Women 25-54.’
