The Bachelor’s Alex Nation debuts her new boyfriend… three years after splitting from Richie Strahan and getting engaged to a woman
Alex Nation – the single mother who won, and then lost, the heart of Richie Strahan on The Bachelor in 2016 – has a new boyfriend.
The 28-year-old revealed on Instagram on Monday that she was in a relationship with Carson Jory, a tradie who owns his own floor and wall tiling business.
She shared a gallery of black-and-white photos of the couple on a camping trip, alongside the caption: ‘Nice to meet you Mr Jory.’

Alex did not mention how long they’d been dating, but her friends in the comments section did not seem to be surprised by the announcement.

They quietly broke up in 2017, after filming the show the previous year, and Alex later made headlines for dating a woman from her local footy team, Maegan Luxa.

They got engaged in December 2017 but split the following April. Despite no longer being romantically involved, the pair remain friends.
Alex, who identifies as pansexual, kept her dating life under wraps after breaking off her engagement to Maegan.
She did, however, make an appearance on last year’s season of Bachelor in Paradise.

While on the Fiji-based dating show, she and Richie candidly discussed the circumstances of their break-up two years earlier.
Alex implied their relationship ended after she had an abortion and Richie wasn’t there to support because they were living in different states.
She later made a guest appearance on Drunk History Australia, but has vowed to never appear on a dating show again.
Before her rise to fame, Alex became pregnant as a teenager to her boyfriend Joel Porter, to whom she was later briefly married.
Their son, Elijah, is now 10 years old.
