Tim Robards upcycles used coffee pods to decorate his Christmas tree

Tim Robards has been gearing up for his first Christmas as a father after his wife Anna Heinrich welcomed daughter Elle last month.

And on Wednesday, the former Bachelor revealed his ‘crafty’ side as he showcased the colorful decorations bedazzling their Christmas tree at home. 

While it all seemed run of the mill on his Instagram Story, upon closer inspection it was apparent the 38-year-old bedazzled his frost-tipped bush with used coffee pods.

‘Got crafty with my used capsules – giving them a second life before I recycle them,’ he wrote in the caption alongside the post.

The former Neighbours actor also shared a photo showing the complete tree including the colourful pods and other ornaments. 

He wrote: ‘Life with a newborn means the tree goes up last minute – with a little help from my used capsules.’

In another post, Tim proudly sat in front of the tree and showed off the bright decorations. 

He boasted in the caption that he had ‘found a great use’ for the aluminium coffee capsules before recycling them.

Tim’s posts comes after he shared a photo of himself and his wife Anna, 34, revelling in parenthood bliss as they cuddled Elle in bed together, earlier in the day.

‘There were 3 in the bed… Had a visitor this morning, lucky we got the king size, she’s getting big!’ the buff chiropractor wrote in the caption. 

Doting daddy Tim beamed at the camera while posing shirtless under a white sheet as a rosy-cheeked Anna, who went makeup-free, allowed her blonde locks to fall freely on the pillow. 

Fair-haired Elle lay between her parents, looking positively cherubic in her polka-dot pajama onesie. 

Anna and Tim, who met on The Bachelor in 2013, announced Elle’s birth on their respective Instagram pages on November 14.
