Last week, E! News reported that Timothée’s seemingly dormant romance with Eiza González had fizzled out earlier this summer.

A source told the outlet that the two ‘weren’t together for long, just that Cabo trip.’

A second source claimed that Eiza didn’t mention Timothée when they saw each other and that she ‘seemed single.’

The Call Me By Your Name actor and the Hobbs & Shaw star spent five PDA-packed days in Mexico’s Cabo San Lucas, and they were spotted out again on a bike ride in Los Angeles two days after returning from Eiza’s home country.

Timothée has been sharing multiple political posts in recent days as he urged his 10.2 million Instagram followers to vote in Tuesday election.

On October 24, he joined his friend Selena Gomez in an Instagram Live chat while waiting in line to vote early.

‘I really hope this guy loses… Oh man. I think in New York we’re safe, victory-wise,’ the Lady Bird actor expressed his desire to see President Donald Trump voted out of office, as Gomez added: ‘My stomach hurts because I’m nervous.’

So far, former Vice President Joe Biden is millions of votes ahead in the popular vote and has a substantial lead in expected electoral college votes.

Key states, including Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada and Arizona continued to count mail-in votes on Friday, but all showed a lead for Biden that appeared to be growing as more votes came in from large blue-leaning urban areas.

Timothée will likely be biding his time for a bit, as many of his film projects and promotions have been put on hold due to the pandemic.

His work on Wes Anderson’s upcoming comedy The French Dispatch has already been completed, and the film is finished, but the movie now won’t be premiering until sometime next year.

The movie was initially intended to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May, but The French Dispatch was removed from the calendar in April, and the festival was later canceled.

After initially being rescheduled for an October release, the film was pulled again until next year, though it may find itself premiering at Cannes for the 2021 edition.

The cinematographer Phedon Papamichael, who shot Aaron Sorkin’s Netflix film The Trial Of The Chicago 7, revealed to Collider late last month that Timothée’s planned Bob Dylan biopic has also been called off due to the pandemic, though it could be resurrected later on.

Earlier this year, his Woody Allen collaboration A Rainy Day In New York was released in the US and across the globe, after Amazon initially refused to release it in the wake of Dylan Farrow’s renewed allegations that Allen sexually assaulted her as a child.
