The pair’s plans to expand their business comes after they spoke to MailOnline about how lockdown proved to be a surprising positive for their venture.

The coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown put a hold on many people’s lives across the UK.

And the couple revealed their plans have been particularly disrupted amid the crisis, with their plans to move house, get married and adopt, all postponed.

Yet as they discussed their heartache at having to write off so many events in 2020, they admitted there has been a silver lining to lockdown.

The couple used the extra time they’ve had in lockdown to launch Celebrity Brushes, selling affordable and professional makeup brushes.

The business came as a welcome distraction to the couple’s recent woes, with the pair having to cancel their wedding as a result of the pandemic.

Harry confessed: ‘We had our wedding planned for August – a year from our engagement. We’ve now had to now cancel with the pandemic. Hopefully we’ll get married next August.’

Dean  added: ‘It’s been a nightmare. The venue we originally had doesn’t have availability next year so we’ve had to change our whole venue.

‘Because we can’t have that venue, we’re changing the whole thing. The whole colour scheme, theme…’

As the pair were forced to reschedule their big day, they then suffered another setback, with their plans to adopt a child pushed back by the pandemic.

‘It’s been hard for everyone,’ Harry mused. ‘It’s unfortunate because we have an even longer wait but we’re just trying to be positive. When the time is right, what will be, will be.’

Admitting that lockdown has taken its toll on his mental health, Harry confessed: ‘I’ve had such bad anxiety. I dream every night I’ll get coronavirus. It’s playing on my mind.’

Dean added: ‘When lockdown started, we were both down about it. We’re very social people and with the wedding cancelled, adoption put on hold, it was just one thing after another. We were moving as well!

‘We could’ve sat there and felt like s**t, but we thought we’d turn it into a positive.’

And the pair certainly managed to find a positive from the pandemic, with their time in lockdown giving them the push they needed to launch Celebrity Brushes.

Discussing their business, Dean revealed: ‘It was always in our plans to do it, and so now we’ve got so much time on our hands… We sold out on the first day!’

He added: ‘People thought we were crazy launching this in lockdown but there’s no stopping us, we’re on a roll.

‘We opened up a business in a pandemic. If life was back to normal, would we have had the time? This is a positive.’

And a year in the making of designing and sampling brushes certainly paid off, with the pair looking set for a whopper pay day.

Describing the response to their products as ‘crazy’, Dean revealed: ‘we’re easily going to turn over a million by December!’

Harry found fame in the earlier seasons of TOWIE, where he starred alongside his cousin Amy Childs. The reality star stepped away from the spotlight to focus on his career as a makeup artist and got engaged to Dean in August.
