British customers of Sky, BT and TalkTalk are experiencing a mass internet outage. 

The cause of the issue is thought to be due to a fire around Newcastle affecting the networks infrastructure.  

Thousands of customers reported issues getting online and a huge spike in complaints is currently ongoing.
